Row on Top (For Now)
Petty Theft Row is on top of the mountain. Well, tied for the top, anyway. But after a week of shuffling in the Fall Manhattan league standings, the Row sits in a first-place tie. What a time to be alive.
The Row continued its winning ways, dispatching @The Warriors in a decisive 21-11 victory. A ten-run margin? You love to see it.
Around the league, things got interesting. In a high-scoring affair, @The Dirty Water Dawgs and @Perfect Perfects battled to an 18-18 draw, while @The Dirty Water Dawgs also managed to take down @PlatanoPower 12-9. Elsewhere, @The Traffic cruised to a 16-5 win against @Perfect Perfects and @The Lobsters made easy work of @The Traffic in a 17-3 stomping. @Coastal Elites defeated @The Warriors 14-4, compounding the Warriors' bad outing this last Saturday.
What does it all mean? Well, Petty Theft Row now shares the lead with @The Dirty Water Dawgs, both sitting pretty at 6-2-1. @The Lobsters aren’t far behind at 5-2-1. @Coastal Elites and @The Warriors are neck and neck at 6-4 while @PlatanoPower have some work to do at 4-3-2. @The Traffic are 4-4 while @The Goodfellas II continue to struggle at 1-8. And then there's @Perfect Perfects. Still winless, with a record of 0-8-1, they're probably just looking for the season to end.
Looking ahead, Petty Theft Row faces @The Traffic. Can the Row keep its foot on the gas and solidify its position atop the standings? Or will @The Traffic throw a wrench in the works? Only time will tell.
